Santa Pretzel Hats

These are such a fun little Christmas treat!  Something even kids can make!

Santa Pretzel Hats

Ingredients

Mini Twist Pretzels

White Chocolate Almond Bark

Red Sugar Crystals (found on baking isle)

Mini Marshmallows

Melt the white chocolate almond bark according to the directions on the package.  Dip each mini twist pretzel halfway into the melted white chocolate almond bark.  Dip each almond bark covered pretzel into the red sanding sugar until only a small amount of the almond bark is showing. Place on waxed paper.  Cut the mini marshmallows in half. Use additional melted almond bark to adhere a mini marshmallow half onto the side of each pretzel. Allow time for the almond bark to set (I put mine in the fridge for 10-15 min).

I am sorry to say but these are not easy to make. Chocolate wouldn't get thick enough to make it look like a hat. It just ran off the pretzel like it was water. Maybe there is a trick to it if so please share.

I am sorry you had a hard time making these. Almond Bark is very thick when melted. Did you happen to add anything to it that may have caused the bark to get thin?
