Pumpkin Dip

A friend just told me about this recipe today (along with another one that I will be sharing soon) and knew I had to try it.  It sounded so good! (and of course easy!)  It’s a great treat to whip up for a party or just to have to snack on at home.  Pick up the ingredients the next time you’re at the store….you can thank me later!

Pumpkin Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 Can of pumpkin (15 oz)
  • 1 package of instant Vanilla Pudding mix (4 serving box)
  • 1 (16oz) tub of Cool Whip
  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice (or nutmeg)

Directions

Mix pudding, pumpkin, and spice together in a mixing bowl.  Fold in cool whip.  Chill for 1 hour and serve with graham crackers, gingerbread cookies or apple slices.

If you mix all of those ingredients together except the cool whip with 1/2 cup milk on high speed 3 min. then fold in the cool whip 7 chill 3 hrs. or over night-You'll have Pumpkin Mousse! I made this for Thanksgiving this year & made Parfaits with Molasses & Chocolate Wafer Cookie crumbs (combined in the food processor) between the layers.They were a Hit! I will make it again. And it's so easy.
