When I made the key lime pie for my friend, I couldn’t decide whether I wanted to make her that or a Chocolate Pudding Pie. Since they were so easy, I made both! (one to take to her and one to keep at home : ) I ran across this recipe and was dumbfounded that I had never thought of doing it before. SO easy and no one knows it’s a box pudding pie! My in-laws came over and I served it for dessert and everyone raved about it and was asked for the recipe. It’s almost embarrassing telling people how easy it is (notice I said almost!). It’s really great for a quick, easy recipe that tastes like you spent a long time in the kitchen!
Chocolate Pudding Pie
1 5.9 package of instant pudding mix
2 ½ cups milk
9 inch Premade graham cracker crust
Prepare pudding according to package directions and pour into the cooled crust. Refrigerate at least one hour to set. Serve with cool whip or topping of choice. You can even sprinkle chocolate shavings or crumbled cookie/candy on top (reese’s, heath bar,etc.)
