Easy Cheeseburger Pie

I was actually quite impressed with this recipe.  I made it thinking it would be ‘ok’ and to my surprise I liked it a lot!  It has good flavor and the crust part with cheese and bisquick has a good texture to it.  It took just a few minutes to put together and put in the oven!

Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef
1 large onion, chopped (approx. 1 cup) (I used dried onion flakes to save even more on time!)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup Bisquick
1 cup milk
2 eggs
Directions

Heat oven to 400F. Spray 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray.
Cook beef and onion over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Stir in salt. Spread in pie plate. Sprinkle with cheese.
In small bowl, stir remaining ingredients with fork or wire whisk until blended. Pour into pie plate.
Bake about 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
