Have you heard?! Paula Deen has a new line of baked goods that will be available at your local Walmart Bakery!! How awesome is that?! And all reasonably priced to boot! I can’t wait to get me some fudge pie and gooey butter cake (mine just doesn’t compare)!

Fudge pie sounds delicious, but I bet homemade gooey butter cake beats store bought gooey butter cake any day.
I agree with karel… I think anything homemade will trump store bought any day. I just know they will add preservatives and nasty things like that to them. That makes a huge difference in taste. One side note on the gooey butter cakes… My favorite version, original, with pecans added to the bottom/cake layer. My second favorite, use coconut cake mix (or white w/ coconut extract added) and add shredded coconut to the cream cheese layer. YUM!
I tried her Pumpkin Gooey cake from Wal-Mart as soon as it came out and it was the most delicious treat I have ever had…. store bought or homemade!
