Overnight Sticky Buns

Looking for something to serve for breakfast on Easter morning?  Often times we find ourselves so busy on Easter morning with the excitement of Easter and getting ready to go to church that we forget breakfast….either that, or we just grab something quick as we’re headed out the door.

These sticky buns are perfect for Easter morning because you prepare them the night before!  All you have to do Easter morning is wake up, turn on the oven, and you have a wonderful, warm, and delicious breakfast! (I didn’t say healthy, but delicious! : )

I pray that you all have a wonderful Easter as we celebrate our risen Lord!

  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 (12 ounce) package frozen dinner roll dough
  • 1 (5 ounce) package instant butterscotch pudding mix (you can also use vanilla pudding)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup margarine, melted


Sprinkle nuts in the bottom of a greased Bundt pan. Lay frozen rolls on top of the nuts.  Sprinkle dry pudding mix over the dough, then the brown sugar, then the cinnamon. Pour the melted margarine over all. Lay a damp paper towel over the pan and place it in a cold oven over night.

In the morning, remove paper towel and heat oven to 350 degrees. Bake at 350 degrees  for 25 minutes.  Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes, then flip out onto plate.

Oh my gosh this recipe looks awesome!!! I want some right now!!! I have to try this recipe, it looks very convenient for Easter morning!!!
