Poppy Seed(less) Chicken…It’s What’s for Dinner

February 20, 2009

I’ve had this tons of times and have yet to actually make it myself (why, I do not know!). It’s been on my “to-do” list for a while and I am finally making it tonight. I haven’t ever actually had this dish WITH poppy seeds, so I will be making it without (plus, I just don’t have any poppy seeds : )

I can’t wait…this is SO good!

Love Poppy Seed Chicken and I always have to make it with green beans for some reason. BTW, I guess I will just bring the tower tomorrow to church. I couldn't get my act together today.

I used to always use Campbell’s, but I’ve started using the less expensive brands (such as store brands) and I can tell no difference in the taste. I don’t think it matters what brand you use, I have tried all brands at one time or another and have been pleased with them all. Hope you like the dish!

It was delicious and definitely worth the wait! My husband had three helpings! I only made a half-batch this time because my husband is going out of town (he usually eats up all the leftovers : ) and everything turned out great!! It's fairly quick (having to cook and cut up the chicken makes it take a little longer, but still doesn't take that long) and very tasty. Something I can easily make during the week after I get off of work!

I made this for dinner tonight and we LOVED it. Thanks for the recipe! I also bought the stuff to make the Ranch Parmesan Chicken. I'll probably make that tomorrow night.
