Goals

by sunshine on January 9, 2009

I am back from my blogging hiatus!  Quite honestly, I have just not been very motivated to do much of anything this past week.  My Christmas tree and decorations are still up for crying out loud!  Of course, being down for the count with Strep Throat doesn’t help much.  I was struck with fatigue so bad this time my sleeping schedule was all out of whack and last night was the first night of good sleep I’ve had all week.  For those of you keeping up with my posts about our trip to NY, I’m not finished yet!!  I still have 2 more days to go…..be patient with me!  ; )

I thought I would end the week with some goals…..cooking goals that is.  The extent of my cooking this week has been grilling chicken breast on our beloved George Foreman grill (the greatest thing since sliced bread!) and microwaving some frozen veggies.  I’ve really got to get back in the swing of things (as my husband says, “BACK in the swing of things…..don’t you have to START with a swing of things before you can get BACK in the swing of things??!!”  Ha!  I hear you loud and clear, honey : )

So, here are the TO DO things on my cooking list:

Poppyseed Chicken

Easy Cinnamon Rolls

Hurry Up Chicken Pot Pie

Spicy Chicken Spaghetti

I hope to make most, if not all, of these within the next couple of weeks.  They all look so delicious!!  Of course, I’ll be sure to write about them when I do!

Do you have any cooking goals?  If so, I would love to hear them.  I could use some new ideas!!

Love, love, love me some poppy seed chicken! The family really likes it as well. I'm going to add that to my menu – great idea! I want to try the other two chicken recipes, too. I've been looking for some new ideas! Thanks for linking to the cinnamon rolls – I've made them lots of times and have never been disappointed! I've also got a yummy and easy recipe that I'm doing tonight and hope to post about in a day or so. Have a great week!
