		<description>If you wanna kick up the heat a notch, use fully ripened red jalapenos (far and away easier if you grow your own peppers, like I do).  Green jalapenos are not ripe and have not achieved their maximum heat potential. 
For some serious heat and a slight citrus flavor, substitute habaneros for the jalapenos.   </description>

-adding pico to the cream cheese 
-addnig a small piece of shrimp to each half 
-substitute the cream cream with cheddar cheese 
 
Also, you can cook them on a grill if you are having a BBQ.  The link below is for jalapeno cookers you can use to ensure they are cooked evenly.
