Grill Week – Grilled Corn on the Cob

by sunshine on June 2, 2008

I’m going to start off with one of my favorite things to grill…..CORN ON THE COB! Keith and I both love grilled corn on the cob and probably have it every week while it’s in season. This is what we have found to be the easiest and best way to grill corn –

Grilled Corn on the Cob

Ingredients

  • 2-4 ears of corn in husk (or however many you want to grill – we usually just grill 1 ear per person)
  • 1 Stick of butter
  • Salt and Pepper to taste (and any other seasoning you might like to use – we like to use Season Salt)
  • Aluminum Foil

Directions

  1. Heat grill to Med.-High heat
  2. Cut excess silk hanging from the end of the corn
  3. Soak ears of corn (still in husks) in water for 15 minutes
  4. Wrap corn individually in aluminum foil
  5. Place corn on grill and cook for 30-40 minutes turning after 15-20 minutes
  6. Remove corn from grill and remove foil – Be careful, it will be HOT!
  7. Shuck corn (I usually run a little cold water over corn as I am shucking it because it is still quite hot)
  8. Season with butter, salt and pepper
  9. Enjoy!
