This is a month for birthdays! Within a little over a 1 month period our family has a total of 6 birthdays! My mom kicks it off on May 12, Keith’s mom’s birthday is May 30, his dad’s birthday is June 2, mine is June 4 (today! : ) and Keith’s is June 22!! Crazy, isn’t it! We started the birthday celebrations by going to a Travs game on May 30th. We went to eat dinner at the Whole Hog Cafe (yum!) and then headed to the game. The weather was wonderful and we enjoyed a really great game. Afterward they even had a fireworks display! What a treat! I LOVE fireworks!!
Then on Saturday Keith took me shopping in west Little Rock and then we ate dinner at MiMi’s Cafe (double YUM!) I had meatloaf and Keith had the French Quarter hamburger. We love to eat there!! Everything is always so delicious! They also give you an assortment of breads as an appetizer. Our favorite is their pumpkin raisin bread. It’s SOOOO good!! We almost had to carry each other out of there we ate so much : )
We also got ourselves an elliptical machine for each other’s birthdays. We decided that that would be a good gift for each other this year since we both find it hard to get to the gym. Keith’s parents also helped chip in as part of our birthday. It’s a great machine especially for the price. We are very pleased with it and look forward to working out in the comfort of our own home!
