This is Talent. Keith and I have been sponsoring Talent for a little over 2 years now and it has been such a blessing for us to be able to do this. We were at a Casting Crowns concert and they showed us a video of what World Vision is and how they are helping children. We were very moved by the video and what Casting Crowns had to say about this organization.
It costs $35 per month to sponsor Talent. With this $35, we are helping her receive food, water, medical care, schooling and clothing. We also get little packets in the mail with cards or small booklets to sign and sent Talent during the holidays or special occasions. We can also send her emails that someone will translate for us and read to her. We also will get a card or letter in the mail from her every once in a while and an updated picture and information each year, which is always a treat.
When we were at the Casting Crowns concert they had folders that had children in them with personal information about them. This is the information we received about Talent ~
Talent lives with her parents, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters in Zimbabwe. Her parents struggle to provide for the family.
Talent is not in school at this time because the child is still too young. She was born on October 20, 2008. She likes to play with toys. She helps at home by washing dishes. She is in good health.
Your sponsorship commitment will help provide Talent and her community with the assistance they need to save a generation from the HIV/AIDS crisis. World Vision will faithfully use your sponsorship support of Talent to meet her needs and minimize the impact of AIDS in her community through tangible prevention and care programs. You are an answer to prayer, helping children and families gain access to basic needs and learn about God’s unconditional love.
