2 Years

Today is our 2nd wedding anniversary. It’s very exciting. Being married is the most wonderful thing in the world. I didn’t get married until I was 28, so I spent many a year as a single woman. After being single for so long, I so appreciate what it is like to share my life with someone, and I would have it no other way. Keith is an absolutely wonderful Christian man, and I thank God for him each day. The Lord has blessed us with a wonderful relationship.

I would like to share with you what the card he gave me for our anniversary says. It’s perfect.

A lot of couples say they love each other,
but I don’t think love means the same to them
as it does to us . . .
The love we share has stood the test of time.
We’ve cried for each other,
prayed for each other,
and stuck by one another when it wasn’t the easiest thing to do.
And through it all,
that bond between us has held ~ no matter what.

I wish you knew how many times
I’ve thanked God for you and your love . . .
because then you’d know that you mean the world to me.
